Leaving o2 airtime
In January o2 emailed me to inform they were changing my contact and they were removing switch up every 3 months and moving to every 11 months. The email informed I could cancel the airtime and continue to pay the phone.
After 3 or 4 calls telling them I could do this and the airtime was cancelled and the person I spoke to said my direct debit was now £37 a month.
To my shock I receive a enforcement and termination notice saying the final bill for £1200 will need paid after it has been generated in 14 days and will have 14 days from that date.
I called and they said I will have to wait until the bill is generated to start a payment plan.
The bill has arrived today and I called to organise a payment plan and they have now told me I need to wait until it goes to collection in 2 weeks. I'm now worried that after choosing an option o2 has given me it will effect my credit score and be given to a debt collector as its been threatened in the letter.
Has anyone else left o2 because of the changes to contract have you been through the same thing?
