Switching from BT to Vodafone

My contract with BT BB and line rental expires soon. Am thinking to switch to Vodafone or switch. Is it just a new router I need to. Have got a phone adapter upstairs for cordless phone. Thanks

If the phone adapter was provided by BT for their digital voice service, it's unlikely to work with any other ISP.

If you have BT Digital Voice with your BT Broadband and a BT DV adapter so an upstairs phone can connect to the BT router , that adapter is BT specific so if you change to Vodafone the BT DV adapter will be of no use
