Covid cars

My example will likely disappear after getting resolved but the issue for others may start to appear more frequently in the future.I think the issue is very much a now issue, as years go on consumers are more likely to not be so savvy on exact spec's on a car and do their due diligence and check their existence.
Outside of this example there seems a lot of copy paste of the same article, I would expect it to be all over the net and it just isn't. I should also add that I suspect car sales were very low in that period so that also minimizes the impact.
Ultimately no one should ever assume the badge = spec / the dealer listing is correct, its part of due dilligence when spending a large sum on a car.

I fortunately bought a new vehicle in October 2019 so wasn't in the market at this time at all. For a couple of years it was worth more than I paid for it, which felt bizarre, when we are so programmed for cars to lose money.
I remember hearing some of this though. The strangest one I can recall was an acquaintance who had a car on order being offered £300 off to take dials instead of a digital dash.
He was happy - said he didn't want a digital dash anyway, but my thought was what on earth will happen when he comes to sell it?
