Cancelled Pegasus flight: Can I take them to Small Claims court?
I'm seeking advice on how to proceed with a cancelled flight issue. Pegasus Airlines cancelled my December flight from the UK to Turkey, offering a new flight 2 days later. They provided the statutory compensation (£350), but didn't cover accommodation costs, which they are required by law.
The problem is that they're now refusing to reimburse my accommodation expenses. I'm considering taking them to small claims court, but I'm unsure if I can do so since Pegasus is a Turkish-based company. Do they need to have a UK office for me to open a case? Can anyone advise on the process and any potential hurdles I might face?

First step would be to use the airlines Alternative Dispute Resolution provider, looking at the CAA website it seems Pegasus uses the CAAs own PACT service

Thanks for getting back to me. I've checked and Pegasus isn't a member of a CAA-approved ADR body, which means I can complain to the Passenger Advice and Complaints Team (PACT). However, since they're not part of a CAA-approved ADR body, it's likely they'll just ignore PACT's involvement as they have no authority over them. That makes it seem like a waste of time going down that route. I'd rather take them to small claims court, which is why I was checking if that's an option.

Small claims is only an option if they have a UK entity/address, but not convinced that they do. If you were needing UK accommodation for two days, are you perhaps resident in Turkiye and claiming for the return journey, in which case you might be able to do so via the Turkish system?
If you paid with a UK credit card, you might be able to make a section 75 claim?
