Transferring to Trading 212 Cash ISA
Just opened a Trading 212 cash ISA and trying to trqnsfer funds from my bank (Allied Irish Bank). I have never done this before, so please bear with me. Despite giving them the sort and account codes it looks as though they cannot transfer the funds ? I get a message transfer a portfolio from another provider (I get a list of banks to choose from). I presume I have to open a new account with one of these banks, transfer my funds into it and then trnsafer again onto Trading 212 ?

Are you perhaps invoking the function to transfer in from another ISA, rather than depositing funds?
explains the process, is that what you're doing?

You're saying AIB isn't on Trading212's list of Isa providers it can arrange a transfer from? Or are you trying to make a faster payments deposit from your AIB account directly?
