I Park Services Ltd Charge

Hi all,

My wife has received a parking charge for 'parking on private land' from this company.

She dropped a parcel off in a shop which had these parking bays next to the shop at 1803 and was less than 5 mins doing so.

This morning we received a letter through the post saying that we owe a parking charge to this company and that we can reduce the amount to £60 if paid within 14 days.

Is this a scam as i thought these charges were classed as unlawful and would not hold up in a court?

My wife is panicking now, thinking she will receive a ccj if we ignore the letter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Tell your wife to chill basically

She will NOT receive a CCJ

  • Should we just ignore the letters?

For now, YES , IGNORE them

Come back to this thread if or when she receives a Letter of Claim giving her 30 days notice or a Money Claim N1SDT pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL in the post

Why not just read the MSE Guide to Private Parking tickets linked under the red MSE Link, at the top of the page?

And it looks like you haven't read the NEWBIES FAQS thread yet. See my signature.

    No links needed.

More letters to come so have a read of the following in the NEWBIES again:

POST 4 - Debt Collectors Letters (ignore)

    POST 2 - Small Claim

As Gr1pr advised your waiting for a Letter of Claim giving her 30 days notice or a Money Claim N1SDT pack to respond

And later on, please don't post about the £170 threatograms as that's what the images in post 4 of the NEWBIES thread are for.

    🙂

    Hi,

    Thank you for the information.

Roughly how many debt collector letters will we receive and over how long a time frame?

This is all daunting to us tbh, and we are slightly nervous.

    Kind regards
