Transfer of S&S ISA with Scottish Widows to Charter Savings Bank

Anyone know what my options are now?
Have you checked that they have sent it to the right Scottish Widows?
Each of their different S&S ISAs has a different address.

They have sent it to Scottish Widows, PO Box 24177, 69 Morrison Street, Edinburgh, EH3 1HT. SW are not available to speak to until Monday. Will try then. Thanks.

That address is for the ex-Black Horse/Lloyds/TSB/Halifax unit-linked funds, now branded under the SW brand.
Their Robo offering is:
Scottish Widows Limited
PO Box 24171
69 Morrison Street
Edinburgh
EH3 1HLThe ISAs offered by their workplace division is:
Workplace Savings, PO Box 24173, EH3 1HP
And for ISAs on the SW platform:
Scottish Widows Platform
PO Box 24065
1 Tanfield
Edinburgh
EH3 1EYWhilst the addresses are similar, they go to independent units that do not have access to the other units. So, if the wrong address is used, they won't know which it belongs to and if it does get pass around, it could go to a number of places before it eventually gets where it needs to go. Assuming it actually gets there at all.

You supply the address when you fill out the transfer form. Thats what is used when it gets forwarded by your new provider.
You need to check with SW aspa that the address you used is correct. If it's not, you will need to submit again.
You should 'always' chase a transfer and never wait 30 days before doing so. When the ceder has confirmed they have received the transfer request, is a good time to sit back and wait.

In this case, being very generous to Royal Mail, you would expect SW to have at least received the request within 14 days of you posting to Charter.

Message received from Charter on 7th February 2026:
Thank you for your secure message.I can confirm that your ISA transfer request form was received on the 20th January and was forwarded to Scottish Widows on the 22nd January. We sent a reminder on the 5th February. Please be aware that a Stocks and Shares ISA transfer can take 30 days to complete.
Also having spoken to them earlier another reminder was sent recently.
I can't remember what I put on the application but the Scottish Widows account was previously an iWeb account.
I'm seriously thinking of cancelling the transfer now as I'm sick and tired of all the mither.
Thanks for all the help.

I even opted for a lower % cash ISA with a 'trusted' provider thinking it was run more smoothly. More fool me. And the fact that Charter said you have to wait 30 days is exactly what I've done!

You don't need to wait 30 days to call SW. You can call them when ever you like to discussion your account with them.
The address you put will be the address it was sent to. Call SW and verify it was the correct address to send to. If it was, ask them why have not actioned the request, stating the 2 dates the requests was sent from Charter. If they fail to answer, raise a formal complaint with SW on the spot.
If the address was not correct. Submit again to Charter, this time be more pro active with SW, at least untill they confirm receipt of the transfer request.

The ex iWebb address is:
Scottish Widows Share Dealing
The Stock Administration Department
12 Wellington Place
Leeds
LS1 4APSo, Charter have sent it to the wrong address.

I filled in the application for Charter and had to put the address for Scottish Widows and in all honesty probably took the first address I saw not knowing there could be more than one. So it looks like it's my mistake although the way Charter were talking yesterday they only have one address on there system. Definitely need clarity from both of them and although I will probably never do one of these transfers again it's certainly a lesson learnt.
