do I have a case even though I have video evidence of me attempting to pay at 23:40 and showing the machine clearly jammed and many people also waiting trying to pay?

Was it “pay before exit”? If so the entry time on the data is irrelevant it’s the exit time that’s key and if there were a lot of people queuing at the same time as you there aren’t a lot of exit times around that time

Obviously yes! You'll never pay this.

Point out that the sign says you can pay 'at any time before exiting' and that you were trying to pay for the whole ten minutes from 11.30-11.40 which your video evidence (filmed as evidence after wasting many minutes on trying to pay) proved. Notably, ParkingEye haven't rebutted that video because they have produced logs that conveniently end at 11.28pm.

yes it “pay before exit” and I just noticed that the list does not show my cars registration number at the time I entered?
