Temu Returns

Could anyone help please? I recently ordered from Temu and placed one order but when the goods were despatched, they were sent in three separate parcels - 3 items in one parcel and two other parcels with one item in each. All have been delivered without issue but I need to return some of the items and I am struggling to find how I do this as one return.

Rather than showing all of the items as an order, it has them listed as three separate deliveries so when I click the "return" option, it only allows me to select the items from that delivery and not from the entire order. But you only get one free return, so I need to send them together.

Can anyone help with how I go about this please?

Check the terms of the one free return - it may be that it covers this situation and you'll have to pay to return the others.

In terms of consumer rights, you're dealing with a Chinese company so UK consumer rights don't apply.

Isn't it a "marketplace" so it depends on the relevant supplier for the item? Temu itself does have a UK subsidiary, I think we worked out in a previous thread that you are contracting with them if it's a Temu-sold item.

Thanks - I posted in the shopping section but this seems to have been moved here

I understand about the consumer rights, but I wasn't really asking about my rights as such

I was just looking for a point in the right direction from someone who uses Temu and knows how the returns process works for this situation

It happens quite often with Shein and Temu where you place one order, but it is shipped in multiple parcels from different distributors / sellers. However on Shein, you get the option to "combine" returns, so you can select multiple items from different deliveries and return them all in the same parcel.

But I can't seem to find this option on Temu…..admittedly this is my first return to Temu so I could just be missing it on the returns page😊

I have done this before, and it let me select the order (e.g. with 3 items) and the a tick box was against each item, you just tick the box against the one you want to return. You then do the same withthe next order containing the item you want to return.

But more often than not, if you start leaving a negative review, you get a pop-up which basically says "instead of leaving a bad review, can we bribe you into not leaving any review at all and we'll just refund you".

Thanks @ButterCheese that's useful advice. The problem is that they are listed as though they are three separate orders, but I only placed one order.

I can see that it says in the app that orders from "sellers" can't be combined with returns from "Temu" orders, so it looks like this will have to be a lesson learned for me.....check more carefully who the seller is!

What exactly was ordered that required 3 packages?

"3 items in one parcel and two other parcels with one item in each"

Quite often I've found I order three of the same item and one is packed separately to the other two, showing as 'package 1' and 'package 2', then both packages reach UK and are shoved inside another post bag and delivered together. It just depends how the seller warehouse works.

I get that but OP said one item?

So can only guess it is some sort of set?

Where are you seeing that? I can only see references to one order with multiple items.
