Can I make a door here?

I wish you had mentioned that in the post about the kitchen layout.
What about the electric sockets, are the still the same place as in the photo you posted?

Yes the sockets are still there

So you would have to remove/replace at least 1 socket and remove the bases unit and worktop(unless things are different from the photo) .
What are you trying gain from installing a new doorway, space, access or free movement?

Access into the kitchen from the hallway, as opposed to going in from the living room/through lounge.

In that case why not go through where the doorway was in the photo as that would mean your kitchen would not have to be touched and the electrics would stay the same.
When the doorway was blocked up they may have used breeze block or the like which could be easier the remove.
Were you in the home when the doorway was originally there ?

The first post shows the floorplan. Its an open, through lounge now. So no separate room, the way it currently stands you have to go through the through lounge to get to the kitchen

To me it seems a lot of expense and work to knock through to the kitchen as you would lose half of the space where the hatch is now
I would go and knock out where the old door as you know that was there before and also there maybe a lintel already above the old doorway but for the hatch there may not be one.
If you go and do the hatch route will there be a door fitted or will it just be an entrance as a door would have to open out into hallway as opening into kitchen would have to be hinged on the right as on the left may hinder using the oven unless you have the door shut all the time.
Also is there enough height for a full sized door to open into the hallway without hitting the stairs?
