Remove POP UPs from Android Phone
My New Android phone ( Motorola G85) is annoying me - I am getting constant "news" pop ups - I think that they are from the HELLO YOU app - which I can't remove
Any clever suggestions ?

You can disable notifications from each app by holding your finger on the app icon (ie a "long press") then in the popup window select the "i" information icon, then you'll see an option for Notifications with various settings - just set it to "Allow Notification" off with the slide bar. This may stop it for the HELLO YOU app
1 -
Disable App Recommendations/Ads: Go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Privacy Controls > Ads (or similar) and disable "app-suggested apps" or "personalized ads".
Block "Hello You" (App Suggestion) Popups: Long-press on the popup if it appears, then select "App Info" to disable notifications for that app.
Clear Browser Popups (Chrome): Open Chrome, tap the 3-dot menu > Settings > Site Settings > Pop-ups and redirects and turn them off.

You might not be able to remove it (I'm assuming it's a preloaded app?) but you should still be able to disable it.
Settings > Apps > See all apps > find it in the list and either uninstall or disable, as appropriate.

I had the same thing with my new Android phone using Vodafone.
It was very annoying and the screen was messages to buy stuff, apps, packages etc.
Someone showed me how to stop them through settings as described above. You may have to delete the ones that have already come through.

It's a DNS filter, same as Cloudflare or Quad 9. It would stop notifications from installed app.

So its a simple install - no further mods to it ?
