Mother deceased - I have no i.d. for banks

I am trying to retrieve funds from my recently deceased mother's bank accounts. My problem is I have no photo i.d. (passport/drivers licence). has anyone else had this issue, and how did they resolve it?

I'm not quite sure what you mean here but KYC is no way anything to do with vouching a customer for somebody else?
