Makes no odds, it has the same tuner. So you will be fine for Freesat.

will it have the full 7 day EPG to?

Yes it should have, that's transmitted with the signal.……Question, you don't have SkyQ do you? Apparently there are some difficulties with the dish set up if you have. Normal Sky should be OK

We don't have sky Q
The dish was installed by Sky when we had Sky+ HD and have since just been using this sky box to get the free channels.

Having just bought a satellite recorder box by Freesat for a second home, it came as a surprise that these recorders don't switch Voltage levels to swap between horizontal and vertical transmission polarity, which the original satellite systems did
The voltage level for LNB power supply is defined by the polarization:
- 13V is for Vertical/Right polarization. Switching signal in the range of 11-14 Volts
- 18V is for Horizontal/Left polarization. Switching signal in the range of 16-20 Volts
More recent systems use an LNB with two sockets, one for horizontal/right and one for vertical/left. They are referred to as "wide band" LNBs. Also the manual for the recorder appears to imply that the program guide is picked up from the internet, even though it is also broadcast via satellite. Not sure until I replace the LNB and setup the box. It is easy job to replace the LNB, but I had mistakenly thought an original 4 output "quad" LNB would be fine, but that is apparently not the case.
Incidentally, looking at a recent Samsung TV manual, there is little in the way of real useful information as to what features are available as it seems mostly related to using the TV as a gaming display, catch up TV via the internet, HDMI input from an external box, but little covering actual "on air" use. It also mentions not all features are available in all market areas! What a load of nonsense and the only real way to find out is to actually try one.
