Overstayed Morrisons FREE carpark by 13 minutes please help I’m new here

Didn’t actually use Morrisons I used the leisure next to it which is ok to do as the carpark is free. I honestly completely forgot there was a time limit.

Says limit is 2 hours i over stayed by 13mins

in the second pic you can see me clearly in the driver seat 🙄 this is dated 23/01/2026 to be paid £60 by/on 6/02/2026.

is there anyway I can appeal & win? Don’t want to not pay then have to pay £100 if it gets rejected 😑

You parked on private land beyond the limit.

Completely wrong, and frankly embarrassing, that a forumite (who isn't a newbie … and has been here longer than me!) has jumped in and posted that incorrect 'advice' without knowing anything about this board and what MPs call the 'outrageous scam' of private 'PCNs' which are disproportionate scam invoices. Nothing more.

Just complain to the Store Manager. Even if they don't cancel it, you will NEVER have to pay this scam invoice.

13 MINUTES OVERSTAY IS NOT A REASON FOR £100. Normally ParkingEye is in Morrisons

Contact the CEO and ask what sort of scam is he running ? Especially when there is a lack of check out staff which causes a delay,

A friend of mine accidentally entered Morrison's car park twice within the hour, i.e., shopped, went home

and noted they'd left their credit card behind and rushed back - they had his credit card, he rushed off home and them noted the one hour no ret rule - he got worried, rang the store manger who sounded helpful; they took his details/time/date/car reg etc and my friend heard noting from the parking enforcement lot.

BTW. This was about 3/4 years ago

Don't worry about that, just complain to Morrisons and threaten to withdraw your custom unless they sort it out.

Thanks is there a template? I wouldn’t want them to check cctv & I wasn’t once in the store that day 🙈
