They don't pay the 7% interest beyond the end of the annual term in my experience. Though in the past I've only had to wait a day until the money became accessible.

My regular saver has disappeared from the list this morning, and it's due to mature tomorrow, I guess I'll call them tomorrow to transfer the funds across to my current account (once the interest has been credited)…

I got an email yesterday confirming my account is open (I sent the deposit on Wednesday 3rd last week too).

Although I've still no idea what my account number is, and cannot see it online (maybe tomorrow with a bit of luck?)

Same. My deposit on the 3rd is now showing online and backdated. No email confirming account opened.

Re Teacher Building Society accounts…

Don't forget that it stated somewhere during the application process that once the account was opened a letter confirming further details would come in the post, and that the reference they give out is simply for the initial deposit.

Teachers: Won't need to wait for the post, 'Final' account number is shown online when the initial deposit is credited.

Anyone else having issues first time logging in? “We’ve been unable to verify your login details”

have been using user ID and verification code received in the “second” email and the password set during the initial application. Am also receiving the codes from the 2FA

I had this issue last Friday, but it wasn’t first time logging in. I went for changing password and it still didn’t work. Logged in this morning using new password without any problems.
