I'm reluctant to ask this but...
… I see the forum's text editor has been updated and "improved".
Can anybody tell me if the godawful search function been updated or is it as bad as ever?
[Edit: Oooh! Am I allowed to say "godawful"?]

Still there so must be ok, unless moderators still in bed.
I did a search for 'search results' and notice there's a 'Sort By' button now, Best Match, Newest, Oldest, which helps.

Search seems exactly the same as always to me.

Seems strange to me that the forum's own search function is so poor.
It's easier to find stuff on here via Google than from the forum
I wonder if the other forums that use Vanilla don't place a sufficiently high priority on searching (and quoting) to make it worthwhile to get them right?

There always was those options for 'search'.
