For clothes, accessories and light, ‘postable’ items, I use Vinted. Homeware and breakables I take to a charity shop. Furniture goes via a charity collection or local free Facebook page.
I will occasionally buy from Facebook Marketplace, but from previous experience of selling there, life is too short and it’s not worth the impact on my blood pressure

As i've been decluttering the whole house for the past year, I've sold tons on Vinted & several items on eBay. I've also donated items to local groups, animal shelters, and neighbours, as well as off loading some to local Charity shops. I have personally avoided facebook, as from previous experience, people tend to just waste your time and life's far too short to deal with socialite wanna be muppets…..😆

Olio, people come to collect, usually sells if it's a good item and you price it reasonably, they give you cash.

My daughter uses Vinted a lot to sell albums and kpop photocards. It's a good money maker for her as she's a student. There have been a couple of issues when people ask to trade items and don't send them but overall there's a lot of traffic, so you can make £100 fast if you need to.
