Defended claim - Parking Group Limited / DCB Legal

Hi, yesterday I received a ridiculous claim amount from a Parking Group Limited, DCB Legal are their representatives. I have never received anything from the parking Group but I did get a letter of claim from DCB which I ignored as I thought it was a scam. The vehicle in question was one I previously kept but no longer have which is why the claim was ignored. On examining the CNBC claim form, and using google earth, the pic below shows the area in question which was outside Greggs were the alleged offence occurred. The claim states the driver was not parked in a bay and the driver may not have seen any park in bay signage as may have been raining heavily. This is an old image (TS25 1QF, July 24) and signage has now been placed where the small post is on the right, so if you are driving in and stopping outside Greggs, you would not be able to read the sign whilst entering and there are no yellow lines either.I have read all the Newbie info but am not sure how to defend this as I have only ever received a letter of claim (Dec 2025) and the claim itself which arrived yesterday. The only thing I have done so far is the AOS, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

TThere was no offence, just a contravention leading to a civil charge at that Hartlepool location and now the Money Claim, presumably by Parking Group via DCB Legal

Post the Issue date from the top right of the claim form below , also post the date that you completed the AOS stage online too

Post a redacted picture of the lower half of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details on the left side and hiding the password on the right hand side

I'm a retired lady but I wrote that thread and my signature (below) tells you how to hop straight there.

We will not link it. Defeats the object of newbies finding their way around. Forums work like turning the pages of a book where you can always go back to page one, if you want a recap.

Easy. No techiness needed. We are glad you are here and you'll find your claim discontinued later this year, like they all are.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yet another DCBL claim that MISLEADS YOU AND THE COURT

DAMAGES @ £70 ??? This is just rubbish and is called the OSNER game named after the boss of ZZPS, and the BPA scam …….. by the BPA ??

PLUS INTEREST @ 8% …….. An otdated County Court system, where can anyone get 8% interest nowadays ???

Let these oddbals carry on with a stupid claim, they will suffer a court spanking for not telling the truth …. IE: DAMAGES

Play the game with this wild bunch, faking charges is a culture of these rogue traders
