I'm very sorry to hear the news about Lionel but pleased he was so well looked after at the end and had the comfort of your presence Gers. Take care.

I wrote a long post yesterday and then forgot to post it, never mind, it was just waffle.

Steve's 70th present arrived today, a new (electric) piano. We had a Roland piano for about 30 years before it gave up the ghost and then L & B moved in with my family heirloom piano (from dad's family been owned for about 100 years) but when they moved out he was left without an instrument and I wouldn't let him buy one, plotting to get him one for his birthday from the whole family.

Talking about family heirlooms, the littles are really getting into lego so I dug out our big box from the loft, have washed it and am in the process of sorting. Chris had some of the earliest sets of pirate and castle lego and I have found a site which has free copies of the instruction leaflets so I am hoping to gether all the bits togather again. It'll keep me quiet for a while!
