I don't have experience with AA but for PIP people often type up answers and attach them to the form. 

Even if for some reason that can't be done with the form for AA you could still use the online one to help draft the answers so you're ready to fill in the form when it does finally arrive.

I think also any appointee or someone with power of attorney has to do the paper-based route. I believe some sites have downloadable options to print out. I'll check.

I did my application by snail mail, because I knew I would delay, as I really didn't want to apply. However, having sent forms to other places, you could copy the form from the website,using Snip, for instance, then after copying the last page, using the app's pen/pencil, to sign. It is nowhere as good as a proper signature, but our writing often deteriorates, due to aging, anyway.

Boohoo.Contact Parkinsons UK.They were very helpful with filling in the online form for DH.The advisor said it is actually easier to fill in the online form.He didn't have to sign it and got the AA.

My FIL has a telephone consultation with a person from RNBF on Tuesday to do the AA online form.

He is still waiting for the form from when he called on 28/01/26 as he has not had any post since then and his neighbours that he knows have not had any post for the same amount of time as him.
