Chase - Refer a Friend for £50 each

I see it as totally different. With a switch you are reward for moving a bank to them. In this case the reward is getting someone else to open an account.
I don't know if it's taxable or not, but it could be as the £50 is profit from doing some work (getting a 3rd person to open the account)

I used the link on Reddit to do this as I don't like pestering friends and family. It worked so well I did it for my partner's account too. All 10 links were claimed within hours and all the accounts opened and bonuses paid shortly after. Easiest £500 I'll ever "earn".
For people who do this, one piece of advice - don't just post your codes, ask people to message you. Just in case Chase are watching. Losing a Chase account would be catastrophic for some people!

My family don't seem interested but I am wary of using any online platforms, especially ones that I don't use.
Like you say, I wouldn't like to lose my Chase account either, hey ho!

I opened a chase account last week. How do I refer friends?

On the main page, scroll down to Rewards and click on that. In that section you'll be able to generate codes to give to your friends.

Nothing there. I wonder if it's because I'm switching away!

No its because you opened the account last week. In your first month you only get the offer to enter a code if someone else referred you. After a month (or maybe 2, it varies) you'll have the ability to generate your own referral codes in app

very impressed how quickly they paid out the incentive!

I opened an account at the end of January. Last week I got an email saying I could get £250 for referring up to 5 friends, and I can now see the link in the app. So I guess it only becomes available once you've had an account for a month or so.

I've had my account for over a year and no refer a friend link
