Please have a look at this… I was actually trying to back off rerouting my satnav not to get into that area… so not sure how to write the appeal… other than the registered keeper (my husband) and me the driver…

The keeper appeals. He hasn't missed any deadline.
He should say he wasn't driving but explain what the driver did, WITHOUT naming you and WITHOUT saying you actually stopped.
We hate templates and the keeper really doesn't need one. Dead easy then you ignore them and only come back if he gets a LBC or Claim Form. Equally dead easy and … drum roll …with a template!

Is this good enough? Please?
A notice to the keeper was issued on 15/01/2026 and received by me XXXXX, the registered keeper of the identified vehicle XXXXXX on 23/01/2026 for an alleged contravention of “46) STOPPING IN A ZONE WHERE STOPPING IS PROHIBITED’’ at Bristol Airport, Bristol BS48 3DY. I am writing to you as the registered keeper to formally appeal the PC dispute your parking charge, as the keeper of the vehicle. There will be no admissions as to who the driver was and no assumptions can be drawn.
Failure to demonstrate that all mandatory statutory wording has been complied within the absence of full PoFA compliance, no keeper liability– Failure to Comply with PoFA 2012- You have failed to establish keeper liability under Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.Your Notice to Keeper does not demonstrate strict compliance with PoFA. As you are aware, only the driver may be held liable. I will not be identifying the driver. Any further pursuit of me as keeper would be unlawful and unreasonable. Case reference: Vehicle Control Services Ltd v Quayle (Sheffield County Court, 2017) – keeper liability failed where PoFA conditions were not strictly met.
Additionally, since your parking charge is a vague template, I can see the explanation of the allegation evidence does not make sense. The IPC Code of Practice, in its list of definitions states, ““Parking Event” means a single period of a Vehicle being stationary otherwise than in the normal course of driving.”” Your parking charge fails to clearly identify the “period of parking” (PoFA Sch 4, Para 9(2)(a)).
If the allegation concerns a PDT machine, the data supplied in response to this appeal must include the record of payments made - showing partial VRNs - and an explanation of the reason for the PCN, because your Notice does not explain it.
If the allegation involves an alleged overstay of minutes, your evidence must include the actual grace period agreed by the landowner.0 -
You haven't said "I wasn't driving" which is the main thing the keeper needs to say really. Can they prove it?
Were they on a plane or about to get on one? Or at home where there is a ring doorbell showing they didn't drive the car?
Remove all this irrelevant stuff:
If the allegation concerns a PDT machine, the data supplied in response to this appeal must include the record of payments made - showing partial VRNs - and an explanation of the reason for the PCN, because your Notice does not explain it.
If the allegation involves an alleged overstay of minutes, your evidence must include the actual grace period agreed by the landowner.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This does not make sense; is there a word or words missing such as "and"?

Is there a "registered keeper" option? Or maybe "other"?

Hi guys,
Today I have received a debt recovery letter from dcbl for £170 for the ticket that I fought but that was not successful with the Appeal .
So what happens now? What are the next steps?
Thank you.
