Barclaycard Chat Service

Is anyone able to use the Barclaycard chat service? Every time I want to use it for something, I get a message saying it's not available while they are working on it. This has gone on for months. Their service status page says it's fine but I cannot use it online or via the app. A web form I used to send a message about Chat not working, resulted in an auto reply, saying it was no longer monitored and to use Chat! It seems like writing or ringing are the only options. Does anyone have an email address that will go through?

Can you not ring them?Fully appreciate that these days people expect a "chat" function. But if it's something important, talking to a real live human being can often be the quickest and easiest way of dealing with issues..0

It's not something "important". I just want to tell them their Chat service doesn't work! If I ring, it will cost me money and I know I will be on hold for many minutes. Then whatever I say to the call taker will get lost in the system. I would rather put things in writing (that might get lost too!) that I can refer back to, with a date and time that I reported something.
Often on forums, someone will know an email address that actually gets through to a person0 -

It is working for me.
I last used it successfully in December.
I have just tried to start a new chat and it appears to be working normally.
A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".0 -
