Courier dumped item - took photo - apparently this is PROOF? whats legal status

If Klarna take the same stance as card regulations (why not) then a picture of item delivered is all the proof they need. As others have said it is down to the retailer now.Life in the slow lane0

Well, interesting. Courier had already told me they considered the parcel delivered. Went to the vendor who, I knew, would ask the courier and get same result.
As expected. I asked them to reconsider and quoted the law to them and, lo and behold, 2 days later I get an email telling me they've "reconsidered" and will do a refund…..

So the retailer refunded as per they should have & will have to take up the loss with the courier co.
