Text calls to landline via Lebara

My friends landline rang 3 times last night after I sent a text to her at 21:13. The calls were at 21:13, 21:43 and 22:44. Unfortunately, I accidentally sent the single text to her landline rather than her mobile by mistake, and she was ill in bed at that time so didn't answer. Would this trigger off multiple calls like this? I have checked the call log on my phone and Lebara site. They match, and the only communication to her number is the accidental single text message to her landline.
Next time I will make sure it's to her mobile number!

Yes. When we had a landline and someone sent a text to it, it used to ring at regular intervals. The sender would show up as BT Text Service0
