If this is the only reason for not using ear plugs could you get a cheap smart watch that would vibrate and alert you when the phone is ringing. You might have to adjust some do not disturb setting.twopenny said:I keep my phone on to hear because I have a 90yr old neighbour, dodgy on her feet and health issues.
I need to be on hand in case she needs help.
She was the one to help me when I needed an emergency dash to casualty. Sharp as a tack.1
