EQ are nothing short of being Bandits. After many phone calls I still have not been paid, The last agent said that I would be paid soon? Who is making profit from this? Not me that’s for sure. My formal complaint goes to them by email today. Seven days with no answer I go to the small claims court. I will post the outcome.

When you rang did you say you want to put in a formal complaint? It seems to get them moving.

I'm in the same boat. Heard nothing from them despite several Emails.
I note someone said there was no Email address, I found it on their website, they acknowledged my first enquiry in November, but nothing since.
Would the Financial Ombudsman have any say ?

Hello all, another one here that has had the same treatment. Calls, emails and recorded letters, including one to the dissenters team, all to no avail. They just fob you off with what amount to lies. I'm around £2800 out of pocket having been promised on more than one occasion the payment was on it's way.
It's a depressing experience, so much so that I dread calling them again only to be lied to...

Call them. Tell them you have been messed around in the past and want to make a complaint.

Sorry for the delay in replying. Thought I had posted this a few days ago, but for some reason it was not logged.
I called the Equiniti Corporate Action line on 0371 384 2050. This is the team responsible for processing payments for compulsorily purchased shares. You will get to speak to an agent in their “front office”, dealing with enquiries. Because they had set expectations of payment twice and failed on both occassions, the agent I spoke to agreed to escalate my claim to their management.
They had had my claim and all my paperwork since October. I told the agent that if I had not been paid within a week, I would raise a formal complaint and possibly commence a claim through the courts. It seemed to work.
Hope this helps.0 -

EQ agent, ‘we will make payment to you by cheque by the last day of February (2026).’ Today is 4 March! You have guessed it, nothing received. Another formal complaint goes in asap. Does the reputation of EQ suffer because of this debacle?
