I have a Close Brothers 1 Year Fixed Cash ISA maturing at the beginning of February. I wish to transfer all proceeds to a Freetrade Flexible S&S ISA. They are offering 1% cashback on new ISA accounts with contributions greater than £10,000 which can be either new money or transfers in.
How do I ensure the transfer takes place soon after the maturity date?

Many ISA transfer forms allow you to specify a maturity date for the old ISA, specifically to cater for that scenario, so worth checking if Freetrade's one does - if not, you'd just have to delay your submission of the transfer request.1

Get ready to have all the info to open the account and transfer details so you can apply it as soon as the fixed date expires. Depending on the terms you might even be able to open the S&S ISA a few days beforehand so it's ready for the transfer to be input. I did a transfer last week and it took 2 days so they can be done very quickly if everything aligns.where_are_we said:I have a Close Brothers 1 Year Fixed Cash ISA maturing at the beginning of February. Otherwise check what happens with the fixed rate cash ISA when it matures and you have not given any instructions - so the default option. Usually it is a low rate easy access ISA account.
You can organise the transfer of that.1
