Double dip - Euro Car Parks

  • Doesn't matter that she has admitted to driving.

Only try POPLA if she can prove where she was in between. Google timeline enabled on her phone? She should do that now!
Thank you. Tricky, she has made a purchase from where she was in between.  This has the date .
    ,but not time.

Now trying to track down the land owner.

Wouldn't the land owner be joint and severally liable for actions of their agent(Euro)? I don't suppose they'd be too impressed of they got to hear about it..

  • Good evening,

Well the lady in question found a purchase receipt proving where she was between parking spells, except they wouldn't cancel. So I came down hard on them and got this response.

    "Dear customer,

Further to your email received 23/01/2026, a further investigation has been completed, and I can now confirm the following:

Euro Car Parks continually review processes; in this instance there was only one entry and one exit for this VRM, so the parking charge notice was issued.

However, we did immediately forward to our team to review all ANPR cameras located on site.

I can confirm that the PCN has been cancelled, and no further action is required."

Avoidance of liability, shameful. I've just checked and it has indeed been cancelled.

We're temped to still submit a POPLA appeal just to hurt their purse, a bit. It's still open.

Vulnerable lady can now rest a little easier tonight.

    Well done you.

They are horrific with what they do to people.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
