Halfords or RAC for fitting car battery at home?

Have a 2018 hyundai i20 1.0 auto with a dead battery.  Thinking of using either RAC or halfords mobile service to come to my location and fit the battery.  It will cost the same no matter who i go with.  Not sure what brand battery RAC will use but they offer a 3 year guarantee.  Halfords have their own brand or yusua both with 5 year guarantee.
Not sure if the car needs to be coded to the new battery. If the car was older or didn't need coding  then I would have done it myself.

Who shall I go for? RAC are more likely to be experienced mechanics but don't know about halfords.

I'd be very surprised if it did need coding in.

Does the car have stop-start and an AGM battery, or just a normal wet lead?

It doesn't need coding or registering. Replacement is a simple job to do yourself, replacing like for like.

The last RAC battery I had was an RAC-branded Yuasa.  Getting a battery off the RAC at the side of the road cost a lot more than it would have done if I had been in a position to pop down the local motor factors.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Do you have time to have one delivered to your home from an online battery company?  It's a very simple job to swap a new one in and will be far more cost effective.  I would be amazed if it needed coding, my last Hyundai didnt although it was not an  i20.

Why start 2 threads on exactly the same subject 10 minutes apart?

One was asking why it won't start when there was a charge on the battery and this one is asking where to get a replacement battery from

I had good experience with RAC. Halfords couldn't or wouldn't help as we are some way from their base. RAC were cautious as I just wanted battery replaced before it failed, wanted to check that I was making a sensible decision and not just guessing wildly. Price - can't remember but not extortionate.
Warning: this is just one person's experience. "The plural of anecdote is not data."

Halfords had great trouble replacing the battery in my dad's Micra at their base, I suspect they'd be even worse away from it.
