Weare8 platform payouts

Hello,
The social media platform Weare8 looks like it is struggling.
The trustpilot reviews have tanked and many people have been complaining about lack of pay outs.
I'm on the platform, and have a pending payout from November 2025.
I've tried to contact them for an update, but no reply.
It's a sizable sum of money for me.
Could anyone suggest any other recourse? What would be the consumer rights?

"Payout" for what? Are you a consumer in this context or is this a business-to-business contract?0

Weare 8 is a social media platform where users can watch a video, then answer a short survey on it afterwards for a cash reward.
Most videos are short and the cash reward is small (e.g. 6p) but can add up.
Users then withdraw cash via Weare8, who uses PayPal to do so

The app states that payouts via Paypal take 3-5 working days.Wallander2026 said:Weare 8 is a social media platform where users can watch a video, then answer a short survey on it afterwards for a cash reward.

You are writing as if that is what currently happens.
However you seem to be in a minority. Everything I read online says that is what used to happen but over the last few months that has dwindled away to nothing.
'Financial difficulties' is the most often reason guessed at and is given with genuine sadness by former users. The site's sponsors just seem to have fallen away.0 -
It's what's happened to me, no payment, no communication. Any advice appreciated 👍Alderbank said:You are writing as if that is what currently happens.

You have an accumulation of 6 pence payouts so, in absolute terms, one imagines it really can't be a large total that is due to be paid to you and probably not worth taking any meaningful action to pursue.
Even if the sum involved warranted taking meaningful action to pursue, such steps might be wholly futile if the business is in "financial difficulties" and simply does not have the money or other assets to pay out.
Might all well be one to write off.

When it was working you had to watch commercials then answer questions to show they had your full attention. For that you would be paid pennies. Users on Reddit say they struggled to make £2 a week.
My advice? Take back control of your life and give your eyeballs a break. Move on.4 -
The amount owed is over £50.
Once again, any advice would be appreciated.

How much over £50?Wallander2026 said:The amount owed is over £50.

It really is not a sufficiently large sum to take any meaningful action to pursue and even if you were to pursue, you suggest that the organisation is in financial difficulties so won't have the money to pay out regardless.
Why did you allow your 6 pences to accumulate rather than draw them down as you go?Wallander2026 said:Hello,
