Any thoughts or experiences of alternative browsers to Firefox running on windows?  Going off that a bit with the addition of various bits of AI, might be time to jump ship now before it gets overwhelmed by AI.

    Thoughts so far are:
    • Pale Moon
    • Waterfox
    • Librewolf
    • Vivaldi
I don't see the point of switching for something that probably wont happen. Even if it does your, new choice may go the same way.
Pale Moon will not be going  that way.http://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?t=33007

Here, it's mostly Brave (partially synced across devices), plus Librewolf and Edge.
Each gets used for different things.
    Move along, nothing to see.

If you like most of Firefox then try Librewolf https://librewolf.net/

Very good browser as I get all the benefits of Add-ons and less spying.

You can use your old Profile from FF and drag and drop it into the new Librewolf profile and/or move back if you later change your mind.

I do like Chrome but only as a 2nd browser.

Vivaldi is the only one unrelated to FF, it was setup for those disgruntled with the Opera webbrowser though was built independently. Its highly customisable, designed for power users, but as of last year some report it being a bit buggy with many tabs open
Just tried Vivaldi but then uninstalled it; seems the built-in VPN requires a Vivaciti or Proton account. not into creating any more accounts anywhere.

Chrome is by far and away the best, as it integrates so well into the Google ecosystem.

You do realise that Windows is a Microsoft product and not Google?

Of course I do, I wouldn't want to use anything Microsoft (windows,, Edge, etc.,) which is why I recommended Chrome. The OP was asking about alternative browsers to Firefox/

The problem with threads like this is that everyone thinks whatever they are using is the 'best.
Obviously it's not, it's just the one that the individual prefers or suits their needs best. Hence those who use different ones for different purposes.

    To use on Microsoft Windows...

So the Google "ecosystem" is of no import here.

Of course it is. I run Linux, but the google ecosystem works just as well on Windows.  Google Drive, Google Doc, Sheets, Maps, Pics, Colab, Gemini, AI Studio, Keep, Gmail, Youtube, etc.,  The list goes on, they all integrate nicely with Chrome.
