Cash LISA

My daughter has a Stocks & Shares LISA opened several years. However when the New tax year starts she will be getting close to buying a flat and was going to put the 2026/25 payment to a cash LISA so not to risk in short term stocks. Will she then have to hold the new cash LISA for 12 months before she can use that to buy a house although she has had a S&S LISA for years.
Thanks

Rather than open a new Cash LISA de novo, she should be liquidating her S&S LISA and transferring it to a cash LISA.
Edited as I meant to say cash LISA not cash ISA#24 Save 12k in 20260 -
Small but important addition to the above post in bold.Angelica123 said:Rather than open a new Cash ISA de novo, she should be liquidating her S&S LISA and transferring it to a cash LISA.
OP, if you open a cash LISA and transfer a S&S Lisa into it, then you should not have to wait 12 months as far as I know, but not 100% sure.
If you do not get a definitive answer, you can ask the question on this forum, where I am sure you will get an authoritative answer.
