Most ISP rise £4 annual

Most ISP's appear to increase tariffs by around £4 annually
What bothers me is where this goes/stops ?
I mean I have been with TT for 23 years and had I been paying full amount - I would now be paying almost £100 monthly
So do ISPs assume that customers will only stay loyal for 2 or 3 years to reset their tariffs or what?
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

It goes/stops when it changes to £5 annual increase.
ISP's don't care about loyalty.
Change your ISP when your contract is up.

To be fair I don't care about loyalty to an ISP either. You've got to remember that it is a business and not a charity.
Part of their job is to charge as much as possible for their services and it's our job to make sure we pay as little as possible for a good service. I don't have a problem with it myself - there are so many bargains to be had if you spend a little bit of time looking into it.3 -
If the likes of Martin Lewis had engaged their brain before pushing for change to a system that was not perfect but was the better evil we would not now be in the situation of instead of not knowing in advance how much our increase would be but, with the odd exception, never likely more than a few percent to now knowing it will be more likely around 15%+ each year. He now screams that was not what he wanted to happen but how did he think the providers would turn this to their advantage - the problem is he didn't think. What a chump !!6

Its only the biggies that charge an above inflation price hike each year, choose a decent ISP that values your custom.0

I'm a few weeks from the end of my second 2 year deal and never had a mid contract price rise. However I'm in an area where there is lots of competition. 3 providers and dozens of ISPs.0
