I doubt it. It looks like this offer is much stricter than others (including the £400 Barclays premier offer late last year) - where you can simply pay a lump sum above the stipulated amount in to meet the requirements. Here, I think you are going to need to have an actual "after tax salary" of at least £5,700ish being paid into this account, to receive the cashback.

Actually, I am not sure I am understanding your reference to SS. If you are e.g. using Salary Sacrifice to pay a big chunk of your salary into a pension, taking your gross pay below £100k - then I don't think you meet the requirements. However, if you are saying that you earn over £100k - but due to tax and NI, your take home pay is only circa £60k - you may be OK. I don't think that HSBC are requiring £100k a year to actually go into your account - but rather that the salary paid in each month is commensurate with a gross salary in excess of £100k.
