What a great haul. I follow an Instagram account where she goes in charity shops every Thursday then shows her purchases. Some of it she sells on. She gets some brilliant stuff.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪2 -
It’s been a nice end to the half term thankfully - much better than the first half! Today we visited Mum and enjoyed a cake, cuppa and chat for a while. I was spoilt with some lovely gifts, which Mum had put a lot of thought into so that was especially nice. I now have my next acotar book and some snuggly treats to enjoy over the next few weeks.
Tonight, we enjoyed a nice dinner of baked Camembert, warm crusty bread, quiche, and salad. Baths are done and I’m intending on enjoying a couple of chapters of my book and a chamomile tea before an early night. Eldest has his final shift at work tonight so it’ll be a very late finish for him. He didn’t manage to get through his last one due to still being ill, so hopefully tonight is going better for him. He’s certainly much better now.
Other than that, I’m in denial about being back at work tomorrow. I have a lot to get through in the next few weeks but it won’t get done any better for me being in a stress about it all. This month’s aim is to be more positive about work - need to keep finding the joy in each day and stop wishing the weeks away!PBs £3050 (including £1k EF & £1k Christmas fund)
