This is one of their necklaces with an 'S', doesn't look anything like yours!

The first thought that popped into my head when I saw the picture was "Who's Ryndey?"

I don't see how that first letter could be an S - as the flourishes go in both directions at the top and the main "stem" is straight.   It's really not clear what letter it actually is.  Could be an R, could be a P, could be a J.

If I was being generous I could see how with certain fonts and certain other structural flourishes then it *could* be an S.   But I would then argue that if this is what their process (probably an automated machine) produces when someone requests a name beginning with "S" then they need to change their processes.  This shouldn't have been sent out looking like that.

Having looked at the website there are a fair few examples where it's really difficult to read what it's supposed to say and only because it says under the photo can you work it out.

In fairness to them, these things are hard to do and make look good. Mrs wanted to make some and so I was subjected to hundreds of videos of the different ways it can be done etc. She has both ones bought and made herself, personally dont like them at all but she does so... I would have read it as a R without being told it should be an S but then I'd argue you were forewarned on their site with the different images varying significantly in readability. I've still not worked out what this one is:

Louise with circle flourishes at either end of the name to attach the chain to, which makes it look like Louiseo.

I got my wife a ring from AL with our newborn daughters name. It looked like a doctor wrote a prescription.

I personally dislike the font/style, but then I'm a minimalist sort of person, my favourite font is Inter! Like you, my wife likes it so that's all that matters.

I thought it was "Saphre" until I looked again and realised it is supposed to be "Sophie". I think the "Sydney" script is clearer. But in any case for £10 it is not worth complaining about

This font/style (albeit not colour) looks similar to OP's and shows the flourishes, which presumably distort some letters more than others:

Dispute Resolution: In the event that there is a dispute, claim, or controversy between you and Us, or between you and Stodge, LLC d/b/a Postscript or any other third-party service provider acting on Our behalf to transmit the mobile messages within the scope of the Program, arising out of or relating to federal or state statutory claims, common law claims, this Agreement, or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, such dispute, claim, or controversy will be, to the fullest extent permitted by law, determined by arbitration in the United Kingdom before one arbitrator.

The parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) then in effect. Except as otherwise provided herein, the arbitrator shall apply the substantive laws of the Federal Judicial Circuit in which Abbott Lyon’s principle place of business is located, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Within ten (10) calendar days after the arbitration demand is served upon a party, the parties must jointly select an arbitrator with at least five years’ experience in that capacity and who has knowledge of and experience with the subject matter of the dispute. If the parties do not agree on an arbitrator within ten (10) calendar days, a party may petition the AAA to appoint an arbitrator, who must satisfy the same experience requirement. In the event of a dispute, the arbitrator shall decide the enforceability and interpretation of this arbitration agreement in accordance with the Federal Arbitration Act (“FAA”). The parties also agree that the AAA’s rules governing Emergency Measures of Protection shall apply in lieu of seeking emergency injunctive relief from a court. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding, and no party shall have rights of appeal except for those provided in section 10 of the FAA. Each party shall bear its share of the fees paid for the arbitrator and the administration of the arbitration; however, the arbitrator shall have the power to order one party to pay all or any portion of such fees as part of a well-reasoned decision. The parties agree that the arbitrator shall have the authority to award attorneys’ fees only to the extent expressly authorized by statute or contract. The arbitrator shall have no authority to award punitive damages and each party hereby waives any right to seek or recover punitive damages with respect to any dispute resolved by arbitration. The parties agree to arbitrate solely on an individual basis, and this agreement does not permit class arbitration or any claims brought as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative arbitration proceeding. Except as may be required by law, neither a party nor the arbitrator may disclose the existence, content, or results of any arbitration without the prior written consent of both parties, unless to protect or pursue a legal right. If any term or provision of this Section is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect any other term or provision of this Section or invalidate or render unenforceable such term or provision in any other jurisdiction. If for any reason a dispute proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, the parties hereby waive any right to a jury trial. This arbitration provision shall survive any cancellation or termination of your agreement to participate in any of our Programs.

All that boilerplate wording, while undoubtedly US-oriented, relates specifically to their SMS marketing scheme terms, but as far as I can see, it's a UK company, incorporated in 2014:

The governing law is stated as England's.

That's if it is the same company. Would seem odd for such a long standing UK company not to provide a address or company details.

As ever all details of owner hidden.

Only page that has a address is
    https://www.abbottlyon.com/pages/competition-terms-conditions

Which does match the above co you mentioned.

Maybe I'm getting to cynical with these sites that fail to provide any details that they should. 🤷‍♀️ It has all the red flags of the iffy retailers we are used to seeing.

Facebook page latest posts are interesting.

Yes, wouldn't disagree that there are a number of red flags, but was just observing that, on the face of it at least, this doesn't appear to be one of those shady overseas outfits masquerading as being British.
