Octopus Energy - Wheel of Fortune

Hey everyone,
This is aimed specifically at all Octopus customers, particularly those who have played the Wheel of Fortune game.
My problem goes back to March 2024 when it stopped working. Since then every time I try to take my spins after leaving readings, I'm told that I have used all my spins for that particular month. Having notified Octopus Custome Service team of the issue, they have told me that "they are looking into it".
I know that a number of you have commented in other threads about it, but it's now been dragging on for 10 months and still has not been fixed.
So, I want you all to get mad, really mad*: just how many of you are in the same situation? What have Octopus done if you've complained? Are Octopus deaf? Has anyone emailed the Chief Exec at Octopus?
Genuinely interested to hear about your own experiences...

Have you got stuck on a cached page? If you're using a PC try pressing ctrl and F5 together.1

Less annoying than not winning anything month after month after month after month.
It's not even a genuine spin. It ends by bringing in a pre-selected page, presumably to control the available prize fund.1 -
Welcome to the forum.It's you, not them.If you've been viewing your account via their website: Disable any adblocker, try several browsers. Then download the Octopus app and try that instead.Similarly, if you've been using the app, try a few browsers.1

Get smart meter and you won't need to do manual readings and you'll get two spins..
Anyway, you haven't lost much.. but as other say - either problem with website or just try the app - works fine there too1 -

Nope, don't think so - not a Windoze user. I have a Mac Mini, also iMac and a Samsung Galaxy Tab, plus an iPhone XR. Same result across all of mine using different browsers. Don't use the Octopus app.0 -
My wheel of fortune 'works' and I get 3 spins per month (long story)
I have never won anything and don't know why I bother with it.0 -

Not a Windoze PC user, neither do I use their app.Funny though, Octopus CS have suggested I delete the app and reinstall it (standard default position), that's without enquiring what I am using to leave my readings. I use a Mac Mini, iMac, iPhone XR and a Samsung Galaxy Tab. Browsers including Firefox, Opera and Safari.And it hasn't worked in 10 months across any of them...0

The App works fine with me, smart meter so 2 spins a month. It is clearly a scam though. It suggests that you somehow control the spin but it is clearly preset to land on 8pts each time. They have made great pains to advertise the fact that some people actually win big...I wonder if anyone has done a FOI request to see just how many and how frequent these wins are?0

Has anyone emailed the Chief Exec at Octopus?Genuinely interested to hear about your own experiences...DS(*guess which film dialogue I'm quoting!)I emailed the CEO but my email auto forwarded to the standard "Energy Specialist" who responds to "hello@" emails - I gave up eventually - it was a complaint about not receiving any notification of saving sessions - which resulted in a compensation payment of £30........I had also copied in 'issueresolution@octopus.energy' as well as 'greg@octopus.energy' with no effect !!Octopus just repeatedly say the same thing "We are looking in to it....." with no intention to do anything at all - for months/years !
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0
