Opening a Cash Isa account online

Bank of Ireland UK only seem to have option to open a cash ISA with a cheque or by transferring from another ISA account, they won’t take a debit card pending relevant checks. This really restricts who can open one or is there a way around this?

A bit cumbersome perhaps but you could presumably open an ISA with a provider who does support your preferred method of funding, and transfer it to BoI?

According to their ISA FAQ, if you cannot deposit by DC, they need to verify your identity, or you’re applying with a Power of Attorney.
