Take a look at the Boots website, they have loads of advent calenders for all ages.

Waitrose have released some of their Christmas foods at an introductory price, eg 20% off: https://www.waitrose.com/ecom/shop/browse/groceries/bakery/christmas_bakery

They don't seem to have the lemon mince pies this year but I have my eye on this for when it is on offer:

Darn, Mr PIP's favourite boots broke yesterday which you would think is perfect timing for getting him a new pair for Christmas (he does have other shoes, I'm not making him go barefoot for three months 😁), but the ones he likes are £250. He's not even being pretentious, they're really good quality and last years and I agree that investing in decent footwear if you can afford it is a good idea as otherwise its a false economy, but * frantically rejigs the Christmas budget *

Hi all,

Glad you're enjoying your special holiday @Spendless and how wonderful to be treated so well in Pandora. Love that you also got a country-specific Jellycat for DD. Paying for her holiday sounds like a fab idea.

Great use of points @princesskitty29 getting the MB book. I have almost enough for a £25 voucher with Shoppix points. Will probably go for Ama*on to use towards Christmas gifts.

The glass candle holders from Primark look lovely @mandco I'm meeting a friend at local big mall next Friday so will have a look then. Enjoy your bargain Butlins break x

Have picked up a couple of things. A BNIB Dartington bloom gin glass with "May contain gin" written on it for £3 in a CS. This will go to DD's new beau along with some gin. Will probably get them a couples experience voucher too.

M&S have mini light up tins with truffles, so got one of each in our local (small) food store. Will use these as table favours and will get more once I know who is with us. They were £4 each.

I also got one tube of each Pringles pigs in blankets and grilled cheese with peppers to try. Jury is out. DS2 liked the cheese ones so may get another tube nearer the time.

Don't think we can have a tree up this year as new kitten cannot be trusted. She is climbing everywhere - up the curtains, out the window(!), in the kitchen sink. Just crazy.

I like the tree decoration tins of chocolate, @Coxy11 . Is £4 the regular price or an early offer?
