I opened a limited edition saver (well transferred my loyalty saver over) last year and received the first months interest paid November. Now expecting a payment in December nothing arrived yet. Given Christmas break etc surely it should have arrived by now? Anyone else had theirs yet post Christmas, my November payment hit the account on 28th that month?

I have the digital regular saver with RBS and NatWest (same group as Ulster Bank) and they normally update the interest on the 2nd of the month but as 1st was a bank holiday I guess they are taking 2 days so might be updated on Saturday or even Monday. It is normally backdated to the 1st though

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

My November interest payment also looks at first glance to have been credited on 28th November but if you expand the transaction details, the transaction date was actually the 1st December.

With that in mind and, as 1st Jan was obviously a bank holiday, I'd expect it at some point today.

So it does, just checked mine 1st December payment. Thanks, so maybe later today, I'll have to be more patient 👍

    Same here, no interest yet.

Also, anyone else received a notification today that the interest rate on the Limited Saver account issue 1 is reducing, further to the last cut in Bank Rate? Shows reduced rate, but not the applicable DATE, despite making mention of it in the text.

Yes, the date is missing. According to posts elsewhere, the rate reduces on 6th March which seems about right as they give at least 60 days notice of a rate reduction for that account and still seem to be in the process of sending out emails in batches (so it's possible not everyone has been notified yet).

6th March seems to be correct. I sourced a link on the Ulster web site, but as a newbie I am not allowed to post links yet.

Oh well, another 2 months at that rate is not to be sneezed at, and the reduction is only down by the Base change then.

Interest now paid, came in Saturday as another poster predicted.
Bonus payment, well interest paid on my older saver that I transferred the money out of has payed the annual interest out. I'd completely forgotten I'd get that up to the end of December.

Yes I had also forgotten about the Loyalty Saver interest having emptied it back in July.  Much as the extra £750 interest is welcomed it's put a spanner in the works of my careful management of interest being earned this year to avoid getting into 40% tax territory.  Bit of juggling of the other savings is going to be needed.
