    Good  Morning Lovely Ladies.

2Scratters.  Good point about using up toiletries.  My goal this year is fewer products but better products, but first i need to have a bit of a use up.  I have been gifted some lovely products so looking forward to trying new things.  This week I got rid off all my old OTC meds, and have now reorganised my toiletry/make up stash.  Made a note of what items I need to replenish and what I can safely use up

I have also been going through my wardrobe. I am ashamed of my underwear and nightwear (definitely wouldn't pass the hospital test lol) so I am now on a mission to get rid of all the tatty stuff and replace it all.

Today I am going to tackle shoes.........

Also need to book a haircut.

    Hope you are all well.

I was talking to a new friend from my reiki group and mentioned the book The Source as that was the book that made me decide to move to the seaside. She said she wanted to read it as well. I looked on Amazon and saw I bought it in April 2020 as I knew it was during the pandemic as that was another main reason that I wanted to leave London. I looked back on the old Frump to Fab thread and read through pages of what was happening in my life back then. I had forgotten what a nightmare the house move was with all the delays and problems we had. Lucky it all worked out in the end. I'm going to get the book out of the library and reread it again.

I read on the old F to F thread that I was taking this flavoured protein water and it improved my nails so I just ordered some more. The last time I ordered it was 2021. I must have just completely forgotten it existed.

This year I want to improve my fitness as I'm going to be 50 very soon. I decided against joining a gym as the public transport around here is very unreliable, especially at night. I did a Qi Gong class this week which is similar to Tai Chi, but the teacher said that Qi Gong has been around much longer. I'm going to start doing that class every week, along with the meditation classes I already do. I might try a Yin Yoga class too. :)

I did buy myself a nice M&S red coat from a charity shop yesterday which is good as I have been looking for one for a while. I got my roots done last week and it is quite a bit blonder.

@Wednesday2000 well done on your efforts to get fit.  have you considered using an outdoor gym?  i’ve been using one since the summer and it’s great.  my local one is about 10 minute walk away and it gets used by lots of people, but not enough to mean i can’t use the equipment i want.  Even better it’s free and prefer this to the gym as it’s nice to be out in fresh air.  i got some wireless earphones for my birthday, so i play music when im working out.

Admittedly, i haven been since before Christmas due to the cold weather, which has made me a bit lazy.

ive been slowly building up a collection of gym wear, with sports bras from M&S in the sale, sweaty betty leggings in the sale and tops from Lidl.  i bought a sports jacket from Lidl a while ago and it is amazing - lightweight but warm and it was a bargain £12.

i have a wedding coming up soon, which meant a new outfit.  i realised i didn’t have anything appropriate to wear as i don’t go out to fancy places very often and i don’t seen many people dress up like they used to, anymore.  Luckily, i quickly found the perfect velvet dress in Next.

Hmm. I just googled and there are a few outdoor gyms near me. :) I did go on a free local walk on Southend pier a couple of weeks ago and so many people turned up that there was a double page spread in the local newspaper. I didn't check the paper, but that is what people said on FB.

Watty - I am doing exactly the same and looking for a cleaner tomorrow. I remember I made a list before I moved here (that I lost!) and one of the things was to get a cleaner for my house. I have been here almost four years now so I should get a move on and hire one. Someone from my book group said she hired cleaners to clean her house for three hours a week and they were really efficient.

It means I need to do some decluttering and tidying and putting things away instead of leaving things on surfaces. I also need to go through my toiletries and sort them out.

It actually feels quite nice and mild and sunny here today. It probably would be a good day to use an outdoor gym! I have an Indian Head Massage booked for today with a lovely therapist who uses a massage chair. She is the first person I have met that uses a chair instead of a table as I prefer a chair. I have my friend calling me this afternoon as she is coming here for a work trip (from Trinidad) and I am meeting up with her for the first time in 20 years. I also have my reiki group meetup tonight so a lovely day planned.

@chanie  I don't think I would stick with doing youtube exercises.  Getting out is hard, I've set myself a target to rejoin running club in Spring tho.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
