Oh @TA (aka Gormless Gertie), please be careful, we don't want any more casualties!
I can totally relate to what you said. I had our house phone put on call forward to my mobile so at least I didn't have to get out of bed - obviously it didn't stop the calls though. It seems more and more people are being diagnosed with dementia these days, or is it just that we're generally living longer? I don't know but it has to be experienced to understand just how draining it can be. So, if anyone here is struggling with caring for a loved one who has dementia, moan away all you like on here and accept any/all offers of help. Hugs too.Be kind to others and to yourself too.9 -
Hi everyone,
We went out today to Skipton and then Ilkley. Skipton was a bit of a waste because the shop we wanted which said it was open wasn't. Then we wanted to go to the big garden centre on the other side of ilkley but decided to stop at Betty's for a spot of lunch (delicious). By the time we came out the traffic was queueing up the road so we turned around and came back to the house.
Not a lot else apart from looking forward to tonight's episode of the Traitors.
Have a good evening.7
