I shared a house and had a good friend who was diagnosed with a brain tumour. This is the first time in 40 years she hasn't sent a Christmas card. Unfortunately she's not added her new address to recent cards.

She was however the supporter of an ex-boyfriend who was similarly diagnosed few years earlier. He died within 2 years.

You may wish to be in control and be feeling blind-sided, but the reality is that none of us know what might happen tomorrow. With or without this sort of diagnosis.

You may want to talk to folk who can help you live with uncertainty and the rollercoaster that you may have to ride.

Agree with everything RAS says, and I hope the OP has been pointed towards The Brain Tumour Charity - and there may be other support groups for specific kinds of tumour.

better it be a separate document than in the will. Quite possible that no one looks at the will before making arrangements.

Thank you we had not heard of this. It’s all very new so still finding our feet but have managed to have a good Xmas and new year. He heads back to London today and first appointment tomorrow which I am also going to so hopefully will find out more then and know what his treatment plan will be. I’ll pass this link to him and his girlfriend.
