    OP - you are the perfect candidate for a smart meter, just contact your supplier and get yourself on the list to get one fitted. It won't completely save you needing to take readings, but at least you'll only ned to do it once every few months just to check they match what your supplier is seeing! 

    A really simple one to solve - assuming that you are being truthful that your motivation is just pure laziness.

    As  a long term ex meter reader I came across a lot of people like you .Those who would fight to the death to not give meter readings and would never. allow a meter reader to do a safety check or would not allow a smart meter to be fitted .
    You are running rings around the suppliers who nowadays are so pathetic you will beat them hands down .
