My first karcher died when it froze during winter, my second one was relegated to the shed as I got one for a Christmas present, I made the mistake of not priming the hose I used from the garden water butt and the motor burnt out, I now have an AVA pressure washer and am very pleased with it, not cheap and a bit of a beast but I like the features it has, incidentally, the karcher I still have has a problem with the lance attachment and I’ll get around to buying a new one..

Karcher seem to be popular, with ample spare parts. I have ordered a recon K3 for £85, I just need to get an outside tap now.
