Which pressure washer?

I hope to get an outside tap fitted next year, I already have a 13 amp socket in my outbuilding.
Do I just need a standard tap, and any old pressure washer. Perhaps I need one with a slightly longer pipe, as my drive is not the best.
Titan TTB2200PRW(£125) 150bar with 8m of hose looks ok, is there another hose to connect to the tap, 8m doesn't sound long enough from the tap.
I don't have a specific use for a washer, I do have a van to clean, but surely most people have one to clean their vehicles and carpets etc?

You need a standard outdoor tap, not a bathroom or sink tap. It must have a double check valve to be legal and keep your drinking water safe.

The 8m hose is the high pressure hose from the washer unit to the trigger jet. You also need a standard garden hose to take the mains water from your new outdoor tap to where you want to use the washer unit. That hose is not essential; most pressure washers including that Titan one will work OK fed from a bucket but most of the time a hose from your outdoor tap is much more convenient.

I'm sure that most people don't clean their carpets with a pressure washer! I clean my car with it (the exterior of the car only!)

Do you have any hard landscaping such as decking or paving in your garden? A pressure washer will easily clean dirt and algae off them and bring them up like new.

I dont have any hard landscaping that needs cleaning. I am looking forward to the summer and maybe picking up a few odd jobs, I have noticed car cleaning garages with rugs that are drying on their wall.

I do not know about Titan washers, but if you buy a Karcher one ( market leader) there are a lot of variations.
Even with the same pressure rated washer, there are variations with what accessories come with it.
So some pre research is useful.
You do not need 150 bar pressure to clean a car.

I bought a fairly large one (type with a pair of wheels) as I though I would use it a lot, and need good pressure. As it turned out, I didn't use it on much (most things are best not jet-washed: a regular hose jet suffices) aperture from the driveway and very occasionally the car. Consequently it stayed in the garage, using up a lot of space, most of the time, until it developed a leak (maybe it was not drained enough over the winter) and had to be thrown away.

I bought another one, as I needed to clean the garden path: this time I bought the smallest, lightest Karcher i could fund. Does what I need, and far easier to store! (Annoyingly they had changed the attachment connection, so my old tools could not be transferred)

You are supposed to store them in a frost free place, as if it freezes it damages them. It is mentioned specifically in the warranty T's & C's, which unfortunately I did not read until I got mine out to use one Summer, and it did not work/leaked. Like you I had to buy another one, and I also just bought a small Karcher, and it does the job fine.
I would be a bit wary using a more powerful one as you can hurt yourself with them if you are not careful.

I have recently purchased a Bosch 110, small easy to store, has a short hose but as it's easy to move, I also got the hose that will draw water from a bucket (£20) so I can use rain water,(hose pipe ban here in Kent)& it came with detergent dispenser that works for washing the car. only used it for washing cars but it works a treat.
Deepest Kent. 4.6kW Growatt inverter, solar i boost+ 5.9kW Solar Edge

    ok so far...

My first karcher died when it froze during winter, my second one was relegated to the shed as I got one for a Christmas present, I made the mistake of not priming the hose I used from the garden water butt and the motor burnt out, I now have an AVA pressure washer and am very pleased with it, not cheap and a bit of a beast but I like the features it has, incidentally, the karcher I still have has a problem with the lance attachment and I’ll get around to buying a new one..

Some of them have a place to wind the hose, not sure if I should get one with 6m or 8m hose.

I repaired this Karcher K2 as a family pet had chewed through the mains cable and hose.
I was impressed with how well it's designed
when taking it apart. Replacement cable and hose were purchased from Ebay.
I think there's a newer version out now but it's very light and powerful and has a useful cable/hose storage hook.
