I've been reading along but not doing of late - but it's half term, so I have some energy. So far I have cleaned the kitchen cupboard fronts, cleaned the top of the extractor and f/f, cleared all 'shouldn't be in here' items from the kitchen (most have been dealt with as I went along, except for filing, which has been put in the filing tray in the office), cleaned 1 (large - used to be a set of patio doors) kitchen window (1 not-quite-as-large and 1 half door sized still left to do), planted out some aganpanthus (they were sprouting in their bag, so it was definitely overdue!) and sorted out my wardrobe (1 pr trainers, 1 pr trousers and 10 tops to CS, 3 tops to DD, 1 to the bin and a very large pile of clothes to list on V1nted) All unsure items have been tried on and a decision made - wardrobe is now much tidier!

I also cleaned the wm (gave it a good wipe out as well as running a hot cleanjng cycle) - including the grotty dispenser drawer.

I am getting half my house deep cleaned today. The other half is being done next week. I don’t know why it has taken me so long to organise this! I need to book a regular weekly cleaner once that is done.

I had to move the bed out of the room so they can deep clean the carpet. I thought I may as well put the bed covers into the laundry while I’m waiting for the cleaners to finish. I’m about to go and put it into the dryer.

I am going to Southend to drop off some donation bags and to go to Superdrug. We are going to go for lunch afterwards. I am going out tonight and I booked a hotel for the night.

  • Made a decision on furniture, bought and collected it. Have also put it together all in the space of 3 days and unheard of timeframe.

    Am in awe @WelshmansDaughter 👏👏👏

Btw the first 'I' in my last post was written 'if'. Going to have to change my signature quote to 'there is no-one more egotistical than whoever programmed the autocorrect on my phone'. I shout at it every day to get narcissist therapy as it consistently thinks every word beginning with i means 'I'

Friend took some bits, got another friend coming round tomorrow so will give her a pile too.

Decluttered some candles to an olioer

Will check with Mr PIP first but think I've identified a couple of cupboard bits to be decluttered as we appear to have six bottles of balsamic vinegar

Nowt wrong with pondering big purchases @WelshmansDaughter, you have absolutely smashed it deciding, buying, getting, and constructing 🥂

I am spending the rest of the evening looking at identical radiators to work out which ones to order 😐
