This happened to me a few years back - there's a thread on here somewhere.I managed to *speak* to a very nice lady from BT in the north west (Wigan/Warrington?) who could see the 'lost number' was still being quarantined, but kept checking daily till it became available and she grabbed it back for me.It was important as it had been our number for 50+ years!Good luck0

OP how did you get on when you called the VOIP provider's today about getting your "lost" landline number back?
That's assuming you did call any of them today obviously.
J_B makes an interesting point about BT person trying to get back their lost number.
Let us know how things are going by the why and good luck.0
