The details for the nest/mini (have one of each) (on Google Play/mobile phone) still show the old modem details, hence no connection. How to change to the new network connection/router? Have looked at all the helps/tutorials, but stilll no flipping good ! TIA

You will have change details using your Google Home app on your mobile .

You have to hold down(finger press) on the device you want to change.

Use a search engine for the exact way to do it.
  • Is it too late to suggest that you change the SSID/password on your new router to match that on the old?

Means that all your devices just connect as before.

    ^^ This ^^
I must be on my 5th router using the same SSID and password now. My SSID starts with "orange", that shows how old it is !  Each time I have changed 99% of devices have not spotted it is a different router

    ^^ This doubled ^^

I solved this issue a while back by using a WiFi Mesh system independent of the supplied router. The only thing I have to do now is disable the WiFi on the router.

If only I knew that (and how to do it!). I now have 1 out of 3 nests/minis connected to the new router God knows how ! Tried everything many times and something 'clicked in;. One left to go.......................
